Detective Conan (名探偵コナン is a Japanese detective manga series written and illustrated by Gosho Aoyama. The series is serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shōnen Sunday from 1994, and has printed 81 volumes to date. The manga has sold over 140 million copies worldwide, The series won the 46th Shogakukan Manga Award for the shōnen category in 2000, and has been adaptated into video games, live action series, movies and an anime series.
