About the book
Pokémon: The Movie – Genesect and the Legend Awakened is a 2013 Japanese animated film and the 16th Pokémon anime movie released. Pokémon is the second-most successful and lucrative video game-based media franchise in the world, behind only Nintendo’s own Mario franchise. Pokémon properties have since been merchandised into anime, manga, trading cards, toys, books, and other media. In Singapore, Pokemon manga is one of the top selling children’s series, Pokemon Adventures being the best seller, followed by the movie-to-manga adaptations.
