About the book
Magi: The Adventures of Sinbad is a spin-off prequel to the popular manga series MAGI: The Labyrinth of Magic, which won the award for “Best Shōnen manga” at the 59th Shogakukan Manga Awards in 2013. Written by Shinobu Ohtaka, the story focuses on Sinbad – a popular character of the original MAGI series and his past adventures before he became the King of Sindria.
A 2-part OVA series was produced for Magi: Adventures of Sinbad, packaged with the original Japanese volume 3 & 4.
Summary of the book
Having cleared the first hurdle, Sinbad and Drakon venture deeper into the Dungeon and finally arrive at a room full of treasures… that holds a mysterious-looking stone lamp. Their temporary alliance comes to a head when a tempting offer is presented before them – an offer that both covet but only one can obtain. Who will gain the largest treasure of all?
