    Published by Singapore-based Shogakukan Asia Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Japanese leading children’s book publisher, Shogakukan Inc., Life-Size Dinosaurs is the first of Shogakukan NEO Life-Size Series and features the various dinosaurs that existed in the prehistoric times. The original Japanese version was supervised by Yukimitsu Tomida, a Senior Scientist of the biotic evolution research group of the National Museum of Nature and Science Japan, Research Department of Geology and Palaeontology. The book was illustrated by Aiichi Kato, an experienced illustrator who had worked on many realistic illustrations of extinct plants and animals, historical sites, cutting-edge technology and many others.The Editorial Advisor for the English printed copy was Dr. John R. ‘Jack’ Horner, the Curator of Paleontology at the Museum of the Rockies and the Regent’s Professor of Paleontology at Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana. Dr. Horner also served as the technical advisor for all of the Jurassic Park films and he has had three dinosaur species named after him.
