About the book

KobaCute! (小林が可愛すぎてツライっ!!) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Gō Ikeyamada. The romance-comedy story revolves around twin brother and sister – Mitsuru and Megumu Kobayashi, who are attending separate high schools. One day, the two exchanged places and attended the other sibling’s school in disguise, only to end up falling for someone there and triggering a series of events that would bring about more hilarity, misunderstandings and fated encounters.

The series was adapted into an original video animation (OVA) in Japan as a limited release. Volumes which have been published in Japan have been listed in the Top 10 ranking on the Oricon Manga Chart, with its Volume 2 ranked no. 2 (week of March 25, 2013). Volume 3 reached a total of 143,886 copies by August 11, 2013, and Volume 4 reached the 7th place on the week of August 21, 2013 with 113,820 copies .

Summary of the book

The sight of Shino kissing another man continues to haunt Mitsuru, so much that he begs Megumu to swap identities with him again! Another week of hilarious hijinks ensue as the two twins exchange schools for a second time, but will this arrangement change anything between Mitsuru and Shino? And how will Aoi react to Megumu’s sudden appearance at his school?
