Summary of the book
Conan isn’t sure whether to trust Jodie Saintemillion, the American high school teacher whose ditzy blonde exterior conceals a calculating mind. And when a bus gets hijacked, she turns out to be craftier than Conan imagined! Later, Hattori invites Conan to a reception party at “K3”, a new restaurant owned by three famous athletes, including Conan’s favourite soccer star, Ray Curtis! But foul play is at hand when an obnoxious tabloid reporter winds up dead! Can Conan piece the evidence together and solve the cases?
